Greenock Wanderers is pleased to announce Callum "Cazza" Robb as our new club captain.

Robb has been an ever present in Wanderers 1st XV for 16 years, establishing himself as a strong ball carrier, mean defender and a leader on and off the pitch.

Director of Rugby, John Dyer, commented "We're delighted to have such an experienced and reliable player within our club and now he has his opportunity to lead the club from the top"

Robb takes over from Leigh Tyley, who has captained The Wanderers for 3 seasons in a row, seeing them through a promotion back into the national leagues, a West Region Shield and a pandemic. We would like to thank Leigh for his hard work on and off the pitch.

Speaking to GWRFC.com Caz said "I'm honoured to have the opportunity to captain my club. I've been playing rugby here for a long time. We're in a good position as a club right now but I'm keen to work hard with everyone to continue to build GWRFC into a stronger club across all levels"
