Child Protection


Greenock Wanderers Rugby Club is committed in its role to safeguard the welfare of all children, young people and vulnerable adults towards whom we have a special responsibility and a duty of care.

All members of the Greenock Wanderers Rugby Club and have a responsibility to ensure that children, young people and vulnerable adults are safe and protected from harm while they are in our care.

If we have reason to suspect that abuse has been perpetrated, we undertake to report our concerns to the appropriate authority in a confidential and sensitive manner.

All concerns relating to the wellbeing of any child young person or vulnerable adult should be reported to the Club's Child Protection Officer in the first instance alternatively if you do not wish to do so you may contact the SRU . Where a child young person or vulnerable adult is in immediate danger you should contact Police Scotland the relevant numbers are listed below.
